The Island presently houses old buildings like the Chief Commissioner House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, etc. These are in dilapidated condition. Once you finish your lunch, take a drive to your next tourist attraction point to Chidya Tapu Beach. Its located in the southernmost tip of South Andaman Island. A 45 min fabulous drive through the Reserve forest and the beautiful coast of Port Blair, These Roads wend in between the coastline and Port Blair City; take a pit stop during this Drive to capture the breathtaking view of the Andaman Ocean. It is famous for bird watching, sunset views, panoramic scenic beauties, and many colours of ocean views. You can enjoy swimming at Chidyatapu in complete isolation. Next, Visit Mundaphar Beach, one of the favourite Beaches of Portblairians, for their weekend Picnic.
