Situated 30 km from the beach of Wandoor, the island of Jolly Buoy is a very small island in the south of Andaman which lies under. The Mahatma Gandhi National Park Marine Sanctuary and Red Skin Island, a conserved area protected by the Andaman Administration. Located at 30 KM from the Wandoor Beach, Jolly Buoy Island is a very small islet in South Andaman that comes under the Mahatma Gandhi National Park’s Marine Sanctuary along with Red Skin Island, which is a preserved area, protected by the Andaman Administration.

While there are no large padauk or coconut trees here, the Jolly buoy has a small dense tropical forest that covers 73% of the island nevertheless can be easily trekked across with the help of a guide. While there are no tall padauk Trees or coconut Palms here, the Jolly buoy includes a small dense rainforest that covers 73% of the island, however, can be easily navigated with assistance.
